If the Buffalo Bills want to fully ascend and be the best team in the AFC, they have to slay their dragon. And Buffalo heads right into the dragon’s lair in Week 5, visiting Arrowhead Stadium to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the spotlight of Sunday Night Football.
The Chiefs got the best of the Bills in both meetings last season, the most recent being a 38-24 triumph in the AFC Championship — a game Buffalo led 9-0 early before falling apart. NFL betting lines have the vengeful Bills listed as 2.5-point underdogs for this primetime showdown.
Here are our free NFL picks and predictions for Bills vs. Chiefs on Sunday, October 10.

Last NFL season saw a number of historical marks equaled or broken.
T.J. Watt finally brought some legitimacy back to the sack record, equalling Michael Strahan’s 22.5, while Tom Brady re-took the career passing yards record he and Drew Brees had exchanged for a brief period. With the league well into the advent of the passing boom, all sorts of records in NFL history are at threat of falling in any given season.
With the 2022/23 campaign just a few weeks away, we’re taking a look at various NFL records that could fall and milestones that could be reached — and how to take advantage in the betting market.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s teaser time!
We got back into the winner’s circle last week to bring the season’s record to 4-3, and there’s a lot of great options on the NFL odds board to pair up this week that could get us to 5-3.
Specifically, we have five different NFL Week 8 favorites in the six to 8.5-point range that we can tease down to get inside the key number of three. This is rare territory, but we need to be ultra careful with NFL picks in these spots. There’s very few things worse in sports betting than teasing that favorite down, only to watch them lose outright – hello Eagles in Week 6… and Ravens in Week 3.
I’ll be pairing two of these favorites in my Week 8 teaser, so let’s hope they do…
Matthew Stafford’s return to the Motor City is going to be the storyline that dominates coverage of the Wild Card game between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions at Ford Field. And while it’s exciting to see Stafford and Jared Goff face off against their former teams in primetime, the rookies taking the field will be just as important despite having no Super Bowl odds experience.
The NFL odds have the Lions as 3-point home favorites, but things could get hairy for the Detroit defense if rookie phenom Puka Nacua gets loose. Luckily for Lions head coach Dan Campbell, he has a pair of electric rookies of his own.
Find out where our best bets lie in our NFL picks and predictions for Rams vs. Lions props on Sunday, January 14. And don’t forget to ch…

Brendan Rodgers says Leicester are aiming to achieve “a result that will be heard around the world” when they take on Manchester United on Sunday with qualification for the Champions League on the line.
A Leicester win would lift them back into the top four above United, who would be left hoping Chelsea lose at home against Wolves. Rodgers believes United will go into the showdown at the King Power Stadium with more pressure.

“We want to qualify for the Champions League, they need to,” he said. “If you analyse budgets and everything else, we should actually be nowhere near the position of Manchester United. That’s the reality. This…
“I think I’m technically unemployed, so any managers, hit me up on WhatsApp,” were Adebayo Akinfenwa’s words in a live television pitch-side interview after scoring at Wembley to clinch promotion to League One with AFC Wimbledon six years ago – a come-and-get me-plea if there ever was one – and so it seems fitting that one of the game’s household names will return there for one last kick, one last dance, to bring down the curtain on 22 years as a professional. He ended up fielding offers from from Argentina to Australia but signed for Wycombe Wanderers, where an initial one-year deal has turned into a six-year stay and the best days of his career. “I remember looking in my DMs, there were CEOs and I thought: ‘I should have done this years ago!’”…
Barcelona have confirmed that Alexia Putellas underwent surgery on Wednesday to “examine” an ongoing problem with her left knee.
Having announced on Tuesday that the 29-year-old was due to undergo an arthroscopy, the club confirmed on their official website that the procedure was “successful” 24 hours later.
“Alexia Putellas has had an arthroscopy to examine her left knee,” a short statement read. “Doctor Joan Carles Monllau performed the procedure at Hospital de Barcelona, with supervision by the club’s medical services.”

Christopher Bell started last week in Loudon by letting the cat out of the bag then ended it as he always seems to do at New Hampshire Motor Speedway: First to the checkers. On a historic day when NASCAR ran wet-weather tires on an oval to give the fans their money's worth — actually a few laps more than the planned 301 circuits — Bell showed that he had figured out how to maneuver his No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota around the New England track better than any other driver. That came after inadvertently revealing that Chase Briscoe would be joining him as a JGR teammate next season, letting the confidential info slip out last Friday in an interview in the infield media center. Winning Sunday helped erase the oopsie. Bell's second career Cup Series win at Loudon came on the…
