Schalke secure Champions League return after win at Augsburg

Olympiakos announced on Friday that Serbian striker Marko Pantelic has joined the club on a two-year contract.

No financial details of the deal were revealed by Olympiakos but local press reports said Pantelic would be earning 1.4 million euros a year.

Pantelic, 31, began his career with Greek club Iraklis Salonica in 1995 and has since represented a number of teams, including Paris Saint-Germain, Red Star Belgrade, Hertha Berlin and Ajax.

He spent the 2009-2010 season at Ajax, playing in 25 matches and scoring 16 goals before being released.

Pantelic has won 35 Serbia caps and scored seven international goals.

LONDON (AFP) – Belgium international forward Moussa Dembele on Wednesday joined Fulham from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar for a fee of 6.5 million euros, the English club announced on their website.

The creative 23-year-old, who has scored five goals in 28 games for the Belgian national side, has signed a three-year contract and becomes new Fulham coach Mark Hughes s first signing.

Dembele won the 2008-09 Dutch title with AZ and could make his debut when Manchester United visit Craven Cottage next weekend.

Toronto police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Chelsea youngster Lucas Piazon after an alleged sexual assault in July 2015.

Piazon – who is currently on loan at Reading – was in Canada as part of Brazil s Pan American Games football team, a competition they took bronze in with Piazon scoring in the third-place match.

A statement issued on Thursday said Piazon and Botafogo goalkeeper Andrey Da Silva Venture were both wanted by police over the alleged incident.
